Start Up SEO on a Small Budget


How does someone begin to SEO their site on a small budget an overwhelmed industry such as real estate? Well I’ll give you the same answer, regardless of whether it is real estate or any other industry. I think, there are a couple of things to bear in mind.



Start with a small niche

Don’t just say OK  I am going to rank no.1 for real estate or whatever your keyword phrase is, it’s probably better to concentrate on individual neighborhoods or individual markets. You know maybe going for the consumer market is a little bit of a big thing to grasp at once, so maybe you want to go for a small sliver of the market. You know a niche that you can be well known for and build your way outward. So build your reputation up and build your ranking up as you get to be better known. 

The other factor is to be creative, right? If you have same brochure on your website as everyone else in the industry, there’s no reason for someone to link to you or even remember you, but if you have some sort of compelling thing about your website that can be a blog with a distinct voice and amazing videos. It can be with fantastic advice, look for some unique angle. So start with unique niche and try to be creative in how you tackle it and that can probably help you out quite a bit compared to a bunch of different competitors in the industry.

Domain Selection

Select a domain name with a keyword which represent your business perfectly and it should be a keyword which you would want to for in search engines. Check with the Google ad words tool for choosing the right keywords for your website. Once you are done with choosing the keywords then start writing the content for your website which should consists of your main keywords in it.

On Page Optimization

Make the keywords in Bold in the content of the home page which you would want to rank for in search engines. In On Page optimization use the main keywords in Meta tags such as Title, Description, Keywords, Alt and Header tags.

Create XML, ROR and URL List sitemaps and upload in website server. Create Webmaster accounts in Google, Yahoo and Bing. Verify your site in all the webmasters and upload the sitemaps in it.

Best Practices of Marketing Your Video in YouTube

Today I am going to talk about “ YOU TUBE CREATOR PLAYBOOK” and this thing is just awesome. YouTube put all their best practices and best strategies and everything in one place, but what I’m going to focus on something that they mentioned that influence their search algorithm and how you guys can best optimize your videos to take advantage of some of those things.

”Likes and “ favorites” increase your video’s ranking in search. Publishing content regularly will improve ranking in search algorithm, so if you post inconsistently you might want to change that.

More content will leads to more viewership and better ranking in the algorithm. In other words YouTube wants you to post a whole lot of staff. The section in these book about meta data and just how critical it is for building traffic from search and  related videos.

With good titles, put keywords first and branding end. But also make sure that your titles are compelling so that people actually want to click on them.

You also need to write really good tags. Include tags that are both very common and very specific which are also relevant to the video and the place the keyword that you want to carry the most weight-- place them first. Use plenty of variation and put quotes and phases in quotation marks. They recommended writing 12 tags or more and just using up that entire 120 character limit that they give you in the field, Also, the mirror in title in the tags using same words in the same order that  they appear in the title.

What you write in the description is very important as well. Put your most compelling information first and be sure to include playing of keywords and links. Also in your description make sure you include a link to your channel page, a link people can click to subscribe to your content, your social media links, and any others link might be relevant to the content you’re presenting in your video. Click the show more link below these videos. It will expand and you’ll see the entire link that we’re put up there for you.

Also, in your description, YouTube recommend that you include a recurring keyword tagline that is just a couple of sentences to summarize what your show is about and also uses plenty of your keywords and if you’d like you can also repeat or add additional tags to  the bottom of description too.

YouTube search algorithm favor videos that drive traffic to other videos. Playlist, channels or subscriptions via linked annotations. So if you want your videos to rank well on YouTube you've got to spread love to other places.

Having your videos listed sit in playlist improve your content’s ranking in the algorithm. Having a lot of video responses posted to your content will also help increase your videos ranking in search.

Respond to comment in the first few hours after your video is published, because building comments is very early help increase the video’s ranking in search. This is easy for me, because I love responding to comments. Really, that’s what I like about YouTube most is interaction and dialogue we can have here together.

SEO Is Not a Best Option for Travels Sites


It’s hard to talk large different things could be happening, but one predictions that I have for 2013 and Google is that there is been some rumour that Google is working on this travels. That work they are going to be launching so that could be coming on. So basically what they are trying to do be like Experia. Anybody in travels should be get scared of this because they are going to get less traffic on their website. When you search for anything travel related on Google, you going to be provided by options to purchase your hotels or airline tickets right there from Google. So Google is going to be like partnership with all these sites. They are working on launching this.



Similarly it can also go with other verticals like finance, dating etc. Now the travels companies have to look for other ways of getting online than SEO, because SEO is not going to make sense for them anymore. In fact we had one client in travels that came to me and that was the big concern they had, if we sign thousands of dollars deals with you and what’s going to happen in next year if Google launches this product and what we are going to do.

I think companies in travel section should do social media, media buying, banner ads and different kinds of advertising or different search engines. But Google is not going to be a biggest place for them.
